Fadil naci\u00f3 en Kosovo en 1960 y emigr\u00f3 a la ciudad de Nueva York a la edad de nueve a\u00f1os, donde pronto descubrir\u00eda su pasi\u00f3n por la fotograf\u00eda, la moda y la belleza. Despu\u00e9s de la universidad, Fadil conoci\u00f3 a una fot\u00f3grafa llamada Donna DeMari, quien m\u00e1s tarde cambiar\u00eda su vida. Adem\u00e1s, ayud\u00f3 a Fadil a darse cuenta de su pasi\u00f3n y amor por la belleza.
